Reflection of Curriculum Video

My reflection on the Curriculum Video:
This project was very challenging for me.  It brought me out of my comfort zone and I researched many areas of technology I have never seen before.  I chose " The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle, because I am currently working in the Head Start program on the Kickapoo Reservation in Kansas.  I was teaching when I first came here, but now I am the Family Advocate and work with the families and children.  If I were teaching this is what I would be teaching my students.
The reason this was so challenging for me is I never was on Twitter, Blogging, tweet deck, or even make a video and you tube.  I had to open up a whole new world that I was afraid of but I did it and learned a lot.  I am far from being an expert, but I have developed some new ideas and enjoyed them a lot.  I also was afraid of Twitter. I got on and when I learned about tweet decks I loved them, I am on tweet decks more than twitter.
The videos were challenging and getting all the information that I needed and setting up the pictures, text, and voice was a whole new ball park for me.  The first one I did I will be honest and say I had help from Kaila Bodenus and my son to get it all together.  I was so stressed I was in tears. I felt like this project was over taking me, but thanks to their guidance and help I made it through and did the others on my own.
I am thankful for being able to take this class and it opened up a whole new world for me.  I am communicating with educators around the world.  It has increased my knowledge so much and given me so many more sites with great information to share with others in the web world.  Thank you!!!
